Contractor will provide on-site mainte nance services for approximately one year with one year option for 26 Compaq fil e servers. Contractor shall assume on-site warranty pass-through service respon sibility for all future Compaq file server purchases to the end of the contract period. Verification/Fix Time: Next business day or better after verification c all and subject to parts availability from Compaq. Contractor will notify GSA o f parts ETA status within four (4) hours of receipt of information from the manu facturer. Parts/Replacements: All parts will be Compaq authorized replacement p arts. Contractor Personnel Requirements: Extensive experience in the area of en d user support and assistance. In-depth knowledge of PC-DOS/MS DOS micro- compu ters and the operating system environment for the purpose of executing system op erations and technical support. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve sol utions for end-user network hardware technical support. In-depth knowledge of Co mpaq file server utilities including Smart Start. Experience with the implementa tion and maintenance of network hardware in Novell and MSNT environments. All C ontractor personnel will have demonstrable experience with Compaq products with special emphasis on Compaq System Pro and Proliant Series. Contractor shall hav e Compaq ASE Certified accreditation. Estimated Cost Range: $25,000 to $45,000 . This is a Small Business Set-Aside. This service is being procured using inf ormal Source Selection procedures which result in a firm fixed-price award to th e offeror which provides the "best value" to the Government, with technical abil ity being more important than price. Technical proposals shall be required of a ll offerors. The following factors are listed in descending order of importance : 1) Experience and Past Performance and 2) Qualifications of Key Personnel.
