Contractor to furnish yellow school buses, special education buses (regular buses) and special education vans (with wheel chair lifts and tie-downs) meeting specifications and standards as required by the state of Kentucky and/or North Carolina (as applicable) and federal government. Contractor to provide properly trained and licensed bus drivers, aides, monitors and attendants as required. It is estimated that a total of 33 buses (29 regular and 4 lift buses) will be utilized at Fort Campbell. It is estimated that a total of 36 buses and 4 lift vans will be utilized at Fort Bragg and Pope AFB. Due to automation of the Bidder's Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to list. It is therefore required that all responses include the vendor's business size. The Standard Industrial Code is (SIC) is 4151, threshold of $5.0 million. Notice to Prospective Offerors: The Government does not intend to use Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for this acquisition. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business.
