The subsequent contract shall have a basic contract period from May 1, 1997 through September 30, 1997 and will contain four (4) option years effective through September 30, 2001. This solicitation is classified under Standard Industry Code 1799. This requirement is being considered under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act as a national buy requirement (competitive acquisition) and limited to eligible 8(a) concerns that are in the transitional stage. All eligible 8(a) concerns are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) Program.
