The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, DC intends to procure Security System Upgrade and Maintenance services on behalf of the National Archives and Records Administration. These services include all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, software, programming, and management necessary to upgrade and maintain the current security systems at the following Presidential Libraries: Harry S. Truman, Independence, MO; Gerald R. Ford, Ann Arbor, MI; and John F. Kennedy, Dorchester, MA. The contractor shall design, upgrade, install, inspect, document, and test the security system. The security system shall be fully integrated and shall be comprised of five subsystems: (1) security monitor and control system; (2) access control system; (3) intrusion detection system (IDS); (4) close circuit television (CCTV) and monitoring system; and (5) the security vault. The security system shall meet the requirements of DIAM 50-3 and DCID 1-21 as it applies to the protection of the high security vault, associated alarm activity, alarm transmission, and the security monitoring and control. The proposed contract type is Firm Fixed Price. To be eligible for the award of this effort shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in carrying out comparable security systems upgrades or installations. The period of performance will be for four (4) months with a one year warranty, and four (4) annual (fourth year option is for eight (8) months) maintenance and repair service options for each library. The SIC is 7382. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and all responsible sources may submit an offer. Site visits to all three Presidential Libraries shall be schedule.
