R -- AUDIT SUPPORT SERVICES SOL OAM-97-N-0012 POC Harold Miles (Contract Specialist) 202/512-3607 The U.S. General Accounting Office requires the services of audit support contractors to assist with a wide range of GAO's evaluation responsibilities covering such issues as community and economic development, health, education, human services, financial management, national security and international affairs, program evaluation, and state and federal government. Firms must possess the ability to (1) develop, administer, and process data from primary data collection instruments; (2) support GAO's secondary data collection activities, i.e., collection of data from published and unpublished documents, reports, journals and books as well as other existing data sources; (3) support the design, selection, and analysis of results from probability samples; (4) support the analysis of qualitative data; (5) collect data from focus groups, expert panels, and other small groups; and (6) critique research studies and conduct evaluation syntheses. We anticipate award of multiple task order contracts for a base period (FY-97) and four one-year options (FY-98, FY-99, FY-2000 AND FY-2001).
