The Contractor shall provide three (3) uniformed law enforcement officers empowered to enforce the laws of the State of New Jersey. The guards shall escort employees to local parking lots on foot or by operating Contractor acquired vehicles. Two (2) guards are required Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and one (1) guard is required Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The contract will be for a base period of performance (October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998) with a Government option for four (4) additional one-year periods. All contractor employees working under the contract will have to satisfy the DOJ contractor security requirements, which at a minimum will include a favorable National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check, a favorable credit check, and provision of fingerprints.
