Public announcement of proposed procurement: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, under the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) hereby publicly announces its intention to contract for all work associated with the installation of a government furnished 600 KW Engine/Generator (EG) and automatic transfer switch/bypass isolation switch (ATS/BIS) at the CERAP facility, Diamond Head, Oahu. The estimated dollar range for this procurement is between $250,000 to $300,000. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing 400 KW E/G and its associated equipment, hazardous material disposal, preparation and transporting of crated equipment to storage site. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1796. All work to be in strict accordance with the project plans and specifications. The FAA currently has Ten (10) prequalified sources it intends to solicit for responses to this requirement. In addition to the prequalified sources, the FAA willprovide solicitation requested documents to the first Ten (10) written requests responding to this announcement, on a "first come" basis only.
