This project involves impact attenuating system (cushioning layer and wearing surface), color coated asphaltic-concrete wearing surface, slurry seal, and concrete work. The existing playground is 6,500 sf and has 3,800 sf of impact attenuating surfacing. The work is located at U.S. Coast Guard Family Housing, Kia'i Kai Hale, Red Hill, Honolulu, Hawaii. All work to be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is issued and the resulting contract awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). The construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only faxed or wirtten requests for bid packages received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
