The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for 3 Space-Qualified S-Band Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) transponders with the capability to receive and transmit telemetry and tracking data using TDRSS and the space flight tracking and data network (STDN). One Engineering model of the TDRSS transponder with special test equipment is required to be delivered 9 months after contract award. Delivery for the first space flight transponder shall be 12 months after contract award. The second and third units shall be delivered three and six weeks respectively following delivery of the first unit. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by NRL.
