Architect/Engineer services required to develop a complete scope of work package that can be given to a design-build contractor. The scope of work will include the renovation of multiple areas within the medical center. These renovations include constructing space for specialty clinics, relocating Nuclear Medicine Service to another floor within the medical center and renovating for medical/office space. Selection will be based on specialized experience, capability of the firm to perform, professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the projects and past record of performance. Prospective offerors should provide evidence of accurate estimating in the form of a comparison between their estimates and actual project amounts. The area of consideration is restricted to firms within a 165 mile radius of the medical center. Appropriate data must be submitted on forms SF 254 and SF 255 no later than January 31, 1997. Submissions should emphasis experience in similar projects. This is not a request for proposal. SIC Code 8711 applies. Estimated design/build cost is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. (0017)
