C -- ROAD REPAIR -- DESIGN SOL 564-6-97 DUE 021697 POC Donna Lenz, Contract Specialist (501) 444-5035 Provide Architect-Engineer Services to recommend and provide design documents for the repair/replacement of roadways and curbs at the Springfield National Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri ON LODGE SIDE OF CEMETERY ONLY. Storm drainage to be adjusted as required to insure positive drainage. Recommend that core samples and/or soil density of existing roadway be taken to determine the adequacy of asphalt, base, subgrade, etc. Existing roadway should be replaced/repaired in order that roadway meets Missouri Department of Transportation standards for medium traffic loadings. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: (1) Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographic location and facilities of the working office; and (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project. Area of consideration is restricted to emerging small business firms within a 100 mile radius of Springfield, MO.
