C -- COMPLETION OF ENTRANCE; CREMAIN AREA; AND GRAVESIDES SOL 564-8-97 DUE 021797 POC Donna Lenz, Contract Specialist (501) 444-5035 Provide Architect-Engineer Services to provide the design for completion of the main entrance to the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas, including entrance sign, roadway, brick columns and ornamental metal fence. Also it will remove debris, septic tanks, etc., to a depth of 9 feet and establish a smooth finish grade in the newly acquired 3 parcels of land adjacent to the entrance and also establish gravesite control monumentation, irrigation and landscaping. There also will be a cremain area established in the area formerly occupied by the old Administration/Maintenance Building. The cremain area will consist of columbaria, walks, irrigation and landscaping. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: (1) Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographic location and facilities of the working office; and (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project. Areaof consideration is restricted to emerging small business firms within a 250 mile radius of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
