Activity, on the behalf of the Office of the Inspector General,
Department of Defense (OIG, DoD), intends to negotiate a sole source
purchase order with Microsoft Corporation, to provide Premier Support
Service (PSS). This name brand product will provide support planning
and problem resolution service on Microsoft products in use at OIG, DoD
(ie Windows for Workgroups and Office Suite software). The PSS shall
include Technical support 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 150 technical
support incidents, Early Assist, TechNet CD subscription, Monthly
status conference calls, Premier ServiceDesk, MS Developer Network CD
subscription, Escalation Management, Orientation & Planning Session,
Customer Profile, Support Plan, Supportability Review, and up to 4
hours of Supportability Consulting. Type of contract action anticipated
is a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item purchase order. Other sources
capable of satisfying this requirement are invited to submit clear and
convincing data substantiating their capability to meet this
requirement. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication date
of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities. All
responses to this requirement shall be in writing referencing PR
