The project consists of whole neighborhood revitalization of 70 historical family quarters consisting of 10 colonel, 4 company/field grade officer, and 56 Senior and Junior noncomissioned officer family housing dwellings. Work will repair, modernize, and upgrade facility interiors, exteriors and yard, as follows: Renovate existing bathrooms; Add new bathrooms; Upgrade/remodel kitchens; Upgrade laundry facilities; Restore (in some cases replace) wood windows and doors (interior and exterior); Lead-paint abatement of walls, ceilings, doors, windows and wood trim; Provide central HVAC; Upgrade plumbing, including replacement of fixtures and piping to the street main; Upgrade electrical systems, including replacement of wiring and removal of exposed conduit; Seal all fireplaces and provide gas log for one fireplace in each quarters; Provide attic ventilation; Insulate exterior walls, attics and crawlspaces; Replace oil with gas; Provide sprinklers in certain quarters; Upgrade/repair porches; Replace basement access doors; Replace metal roofs, flashing, gutters and downspouts; Repair exterior masonry; Repair sidewalks and parking area paving; Improve site grading and drainage; provide tot lots. Magnitude of project is estimated between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Duration of the project is 1350 calendar days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC Code 1521 applies.
