Gorman, 201-724-3271 The US ARMY TACOM-ARDEC intends to award a modification to contract DAA21-93-C-0044 for the production of M109A6 Paladin 155mm SP Howitzers which consists of fabrication and integration of the Paladin turrent with the overhauled and upgraded Government furnished chasis. The action includes a basic and optional requirement. The basic National Guard FY97 quantity is 37 Paladins with a National Guard FY98 option quantity of 72 and an FY98 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) option of 71. The proposed action is planned to be a sole source to United Defense (Limited Partnership), Paladin Production Division, 56 California Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201-0837. See Note 22 ***** (0022)
