303/676/8037 CLIN Item 0001, Requirement to replace all existing Micro
Nodes throughout the Denver Finance and Accounting Service-Denver
Center cantonement area, 6760 E. Irvington Place, Denver, Colorado
80279-8000. The new micro nodes must be compatible with the existing
American Magnetic security control system throughout buildings 385,
402, 404, 407, 408, 409, 444, and 667. Contractor shall purchase,
install, and warranty for one (1) year, parts and labor. Micro nodes
must have a 15,000 card capacity, locking enclosure and six (6) amp
battery back-up. Contractor will provide all design, engineering,
equipment, installation and programming of new nodes, to include
termination, testing and training for end users on proper system
operation. The new micro nodes will replace existing nodes located
throughout the Denver Center cantonement area. A site visit will be
conducted on February 25, 1997 at 10:00 A.M. Time of performance will
be during regular working hours between 7:30 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday
through Friday, except holidays observed at the government location.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services
prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes only the solicitation; quotations are being requested and
a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation
(HQ0107-97-Q-0092) is issued as a Request for Quotation. This
procurement is reserved for Small Business concerns, utilizing the size
standard in FAR 19 under Standard Industrial Code 7382, and the Small
Business size standard of $6.0 million. This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. The provision at FAR 52.212-1,
Instruction to Offerors-Commercial applies to this solicitation. The
Clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and conditions-Commercial Items
applies to this solicitation. The Clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract
Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive
Orders-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the
following cited clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR

Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires. In compliance with the
Service contract Act of 1965, as amended and the regulations of the
Secretary of labor, this clause identifies the classes of service
employees expected to be employed under the contract and states the
wages and fringe benefits payable to each if they were employed by the
contracting agency subject to provisions of 5 USC 5341 or 5332. THIS
STATEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY; IT IS NOT A WAGE DETERMINATION
EMPLOYEE CLASS WG-10, MONETARY WAGE/FRINGE BENEFITS $15.02. The clause
at FAR 52.246-4, Inspection Services-Fixed Price. Wage Determination:
Pursuant to the Service Contract Act of 1965, As amended, Wage
Determination No. 94-2081, Revision 3, dated 11/14/1995 will apply to
solicitation/contract. Offerors must submit their offer and a completed
copy of the provisions at FAR 52.213-3, Offerors Representation and
Certification-Commercial Items in writing to DFAS-DE/WC, 6760 E.
Irvington Place, Denver, Colorado, 80279-8000 on or before March 07,
1997. Award will be based on the lowest response from a responsible
