70 -- PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL DCA20097R0051 DUE 021597 POC Art Kruse, 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Text Corporation, 6812 Bert Lane, Dallas, TX 75249 for the acquisition of these Livelink software products: Livelink Server, Livelink Search, Livelink Spider, Livelink Builder, Livelink Access points and related maintenance. Requested delivery date for the software is 30 days after date of contract award. The period of performance for the maintenance is one year from receipt of the software. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible sourceand no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software products must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notification to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed price contract. All responses from responsibe sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable.
