This acquisition is for the production test of 24 oz. pouched Chocolate Cake w/Vanilla Crumb Topping and 24 oz. Yellow Cake w/Chocolate Crumb Topping for the Unitized Group Ration and Tray Pack Ration Programs. The requirements under this acquisition are 2,000 pouches (1,000 pouches of each flavor) for each production test contract awarded. Delivery of these requirements will depend upon the number of contracts awarded. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) may be available to those fimrs that express an intererst in providing the aforementioned requirements. Available GFE: Doboy sealers, Model CBS-B. This machinery has been in storage for three years, has never been used and is offered "as is". Proposal should address the production of the above requirements with and without the use of GFE.
