A -- EXTENDED AIR DEFENSE SIMULATION (EADSIM) SUPPORT" SOL DASG60-97-R-0006 POC Mona Neal, Contract Specialist, (205) 955-1187, W. L. Schick, Contracting Officer, (205) 955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command, Battle Integration Center, Huntsville, AL, intends to award a sole source contract to Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) to provide support to the Testbed Product Office (TPO) in the enhancement, maintenance, and use of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). The EADSIM is a model that provides a simulation environment permitting Theater Missile Defense (TMD) architecture development/assessment and battle management, aircraft/cruise missile attacks/defenses, force analysis and mission area analysis, development of employment concepts and procedures, Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I) system effectiveness, C3I planning, Costs and Operational Effectiveness Analyses (COEA's), battle management training, and wargaming. The EADSIM is solely government owned. The TPO is continuing to enhance the EADSIM. This includes maintaining the baseline code of the model, incorporating user funded modifications/enhancements to the baseline code,incorporating site modifications, and developing and maintaining the EADSIM database.
