NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for TSDIS Maintenance & Operations Support Services as described in the synopsis released 1-15-97 on NAIS. This amendment informs interested parties that both the draft and full RFO's for this requirement will be released via the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). Hard copies will not be mailed out. Interested parties will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFO. This action is taken pursuant to NASA FAR Supplement (NFS) Part 1871 Midrange Procurement Procedures, more specifically to 1871.302(c) Publicizing Procedures. The document release and due dates noted in the original synosis still apply. They are: "Anticiated release of the Draft Request for Offer is 1-29-97. Responses are due back 2-13-97, or 15 days after release, whichever date is later. The anticipated release date of the full RFO is 2-26-97. Offers are due 3-26-97, or 30 days after release, whichever date is later." Also: Please note that reference to a technical requirement for training customers was made in error. There is no such requirement. These services will be performed on-site at Goddard Space Flight Center. End of Amendment One. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in ASCII or RTF format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
