Concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center services for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence anf medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Operational hotels/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated total number of mandays are 13,140 for the base period, 7,665 for option year one, 8,760 for option year two and 9,125 for option year three. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a February 14, 1997, estimated closing date is o/a April 15, 1997. Contract base period is 24 months with three one-year options to renew. A requirement contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this Agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
