The work consists of constructing nine precast concrete box culverts, constructing three precast concrete arch culverts, constructing one precast prestressed concrete bridge, removing existing wood bridges with concrete abutments, and constructing miscellaneous structures associated with the culverts and bridge. The estimated price range of the work is $500,001.00 to $1,000,000.00. The work is situated in Butte County, South Dakota on the Belle Fourche Project. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available February 13, 1997. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before February 12, 1997. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for March 18, 1997, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Newell Field Office, 209 Dartmouth, Newell, South Dakota. The contract is to be completed by May 10, 1998. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitations, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the following offices of the Bureau of Reclamation: Newell Field Office or Great Plains Regional Office, Federal Building, Room 2031, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
