relating to commercially available X-Ray Package Screening Systems for
the Department of Defense facilities. Interested sources are
encouraged to submit the following information to the Government:
Company name, address, point of contact and telephone number,
description of systems and components and equipment
brochures/literature. Responses should provide information regarding
the X-Ray Package Screening System experience of your company including
industry and federal/state/local government contracts. The X-Ray
systems should be commercially available and adhere to Open systems
standards set forth by industry and Government. The X-Ray systems would
be required to perform package screening for Department of Defense
facilities world wide. The X-Ray systems must assist the Department of
Defense in meeting the threat from concealed devices by: performing
explosive, weapon and contraband detection, accommodating a wide range
of package sizes, requiring minimum floor space, and electronically
integrating with other electronic security systems. Send responses to
