The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Carbonated and Uncarbonated Soft Drinks and Beverages and equipment to dispense the requirements. The North Central Region along with the Mid-Atlantic Region intends to make a single award to a contractor for providing various carbonated soft drinks and noncarbonated beverages to include the initial installation of dispensing equipment that will require maintenance and service throughout the life of the contract. The government intends to award a requirements type contract with a base year from date of an award through 12 months from date of an award with Option Year #1 beginning 13 months from date of an award through 24 months from date of award and Option Year #2 beginning 25 months through 36 months from date of an award. The government will evaluate offers inclusive of options. This requirement is being advertised as Full and Open Competition. Estimated quantities for the base year are as follows: all quantities are 5 gallon Bag in Box Post Mix, Cola: 4975 bx., Diet Cola: 3005, Lemon Lime: 2580, Cherry Cola: 535, Root Beer: 1385, Orange: 2010, Mr. Pibb/Dr. Pepper or Equal: 1865. The government also has a requirement for non-carbonated post mix at a 5 to 1 ratio in the following quantities Tea, Sweetened: 2007, Fruit Punch: 2395, Lemonade: 1750, Tea, Artificially Flavored: 964.
