Description of content: Technical Regulations containing a report and technical specifications for No. 2 Industrial Diesel Fuel Oil, including: standards for consultation, definitions and abbreviations, sampling, methods of testing and analysis, and conformity with other standards. 7. Objective and rationale: To regulate the requisite physico-chemical characteristics of industrial diesel fuel oil as used in the industrial sector, exclusively in open-flame burners, mainly for electricity generation and heating. These Regulations are very import ant as they stipulate that this product must not be used in internal combustion engines.
