Description of content: Technical Regulations containing a report and technical specifications for light diesel fuel oil (automotive) covering standards for consultation, definitions and abbreviations, characteristics, sampling, and conformity with other standards. 7. Objective and rationale: To regulate the requisite physico-chemical characteristics of light diesel fuel oil, as used in the automotive industry for vehicles with internal combustion diesel engines, such as cars, buses, minibuses, locomotives, tractors and some maritime vessels. These Regulations are important as they stipulate that the product is not for use in the industrial sector, for specified purposes, such as electricity generation and heating. 8.
