Description of content: Amendment to a compulsory Standard TIS 27-2528(1985) Liquefied Petroleum Gas Containers. The Standard covers electric-arc welded liquefied petroleum gas containers of two types,i.e. two-section and three-section containers, and sizes ranging from 0.5 k.g. to 200 k.g. Specifies material of container shell, chemical composition of steel for making container shell, fittings, valve protection ring and foot ring. Describes components (e.g. fillings, valve, valve protection ring), and construction (welding and heat treatment). Prescribes requirements for working pressure, length, wall thickness, head or end section, welds, mechanical properties and resistance to pressure.
