The Job Corps Centers in Region VII/VIII require the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment of 175 females and 325 males to participate in training. The students leaving the Centers are to be placed in jobs. The program is designed to provide educational, vocational, avocational, and support services to youth 16 through 24 years of age in a residential setting. The resulting contract will be for the period October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1999, with three 1-year options for renewal.
