Souto, Contracting Officer, 717-770-6206 The Office of Civilian Personnel located at the Defense Distribution Region East in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) to provide interpreter services for approximately thirty (30) deaf and hearing impaired employees located at the Defense Distribution Depots in Mechanicsburg, Chambersburg and New Cumberland, PA. The Government, under normal situations and to the extent possible, will request interpreter services by telephone at least two (2) working days prior to the scheduled appointment. In the case of an emergency situation, the Government will request interpreter services as soon as possible. Contract period is anticipated to be for one base year period beginning April 1, 1997 with one option year period. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. This requirement is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be issued for this requirement. Fax requests for the RFQ will be accepted at 717-770-5689. Phone requests for the package will not be accepted.
