TURBOMACHINERY, POWER GENERATION, AND WELDING TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP -- RUSSIA/USA TURBOMACHINERY, POWER GENERATION, AND WELDING TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP -- RUSSIA/US A technical symposium focused on turbomachinery design, power generation, and welding technologies will be held between 6 and 9 May 1997 at The Pennsylvania State University. This symposium will feature approximately 15 Russian engineers and their peers from U.S. industry and academia. Demonstrations and discussions will present state-of-the-art technologies from both countries. The overall objective of the symposium is to identify technology developments of mutual interest and pursue joint projects to satisfy industrial needs. Numerous off-the-shelf patented technologies will be featured for licensing, transfer, and/or joint venture opportunities. Financial support for this conference is being provided by various public and private sectors, including partial support from Russian sources. The symposium is open to all interested participants.
