Demolition will include, but not limited to: the removal and disposal of existing items: Concrete block Concession/Restroom Building, fencing, backstops, clearing and grubbing of trees, underground utilities as desgnated on the drawings; (b) Construct chain link fence; (c) Construct wooden fence; (d) Relocate two (2) scoreboards, provide and install two (2) new scoreboards; (e) Construct two-level concrete block and wood frame Concession Building; (f) Provide and construct irrigation system; (g) Construct dugouts with concrete floors, metal roof, and chain link fence walls; (h) Construct reinforced concrete bleachers with railing; (i0 Construct Storage Building; (j) Option items to include Gravel and Asphalt parking lots. The principle features of work for project NKAK 95-5003B include, but are not limited to: (a) Grade and shape surfaces to the levels indicated on the Plans to provide compacted surfaces with positive surface drainage; (b) Provide and install top fill, sand fill, granular fill, filter fabric, perforated under-drain pipe, solid under-drain pipe, outlet structures, and all excavation, hauling, trenching, and back-fill necessary to complete the work; (c) Install ball field lighting system, including control-panel, new poles, relocate, clean and re-lamped existing lighting fixtures, and related electrical items; (d) Option items to include new light fixtures and poles to light fields. This is a firm fixed price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performace period will be 270 days. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis. This office proposes to issue IFB F03602-97-B0002 on or about 25 Feb 97. Only written requests for solicitation packages will be accepted.
