70 -- SOFTWARE LICENSE DUE 021197 POC Joanne Tarr Tel: (410) 965-9474 The Social Security Administration (SSA) is attempting to identify vendors that can provide maintenance/support of the following Computer Associates International (CA), Government- owned CA and CA/Legent software licenses, in the form of an unrestricted Enterprise License(s). The Enterprise License(s) are to be based on SSA's mainframe processing capacity, expressed in Millions of Instructions Per Second (MIPS), and will be tied to the current and projected growth in MIPS capacity for the next 5 -7 years. This effort will allow unrestricted usage of all CA and CA/Legent software products on any mainframe system installed at the National Computer Center. Support shall be required for at least one year with options for an additional four to six years.
