A -- SIRVIVABILITY INTEGRATION-FORCE SURVIVABILITY AND WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION SOL DNA001-95-C-0136 POC Jennifer Bertuna, Negotiator, (703) 325-9368, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028. The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has the requirement to modify this contract to perform additional travel to provide updated briefs to Europe and Korea Commands on the progress of the program. There is no other contractor team that can accomplish this task in a reasonable period of time. The effort has been ongoing for 18 months with 5 months left to completion. During this time, the contractor team has performed extensive research and completed data entry of voluminous intelligence and operational data required for the computer models to perform simulation runs. Only the incumbent contractor will maintain timeliness and continuity. To do otherwise would cause unnecessary delays in prototype development of technology that is currently underway within the scope of the existing contract.
