Mitchem (410) 278-0891 (Site Code DAAD05) U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement for Mission Support Services in support of the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for a one year base period and four one-year options. Base period to begin 1 May 1997 or date of award whichever is later. Services are required in support of the test and evaluation of a wide variety of army material and include activities such as development of mathematical applications, development of database systems, analysis of scientific and engineering applications, computer programming, and computer operations. Specific requirements for these services are expected to vary from time to time as workload and equipment availability fluctuates. The contractor shall support the mission through a combination of continuing effort (computer operations and programming/analysis) and engineering related task assignments. Services shall be performed under and time and materials requirements type contract. Personnel are required to undergo a National Agency Check or National Criminal Information Check or possess a security clearance to gain unescorted access into restricted areas. Since unescorted access to the worksite is essential for performance of the work, foreign nationals/immigrant aliens shall not be scheduled for work under this effort.
