T -- DIGITAL IMAGING -- ELECTROSTATIC PRINTS SOL 1443-RP-1100-97-010 DUE 031797 POC Sheila Jordan, Contract Specialist, (304) 535-6236 The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals for digital imaging of outdoor wayside exhibit panels. Panels shall be imaged as electrostatic prints from Government-Furnished Property. The Contractor shall provide four and five color CMYK images printed on electrostatic plotter using 3M Scotchprint ultraviolet resistant electrostatic toners or equivalent. The minimum requirements for the electrostatic plotter are 200 x 200 DPI image resolution, with an output width capabili ty of printing a 36" x 48" image in a single section. The receptor media or primary image substrate shall be pressure sensitive 2 mil premium outdoor grade case vinyl marking film backed with permanent or repositionable/permanent adhesive. Film shall be smooth, defect and contaminant free surface suitable for electrostatic image transfer. The overlaminate shall be optically clear film with luster or non-glare finish in a guage of 5 or 15 mil. The base film shall be polyvinyl flouride, polyester or PVC b ased, formulated for extended exterior use, provide protection from moisture, vandalism, graffiti and other mechanical stress, and have ultraviolet inhibiting characteristics. The imaged vinyl and overlaminate combination shall be mounted to a painted aluminum base substrate or other material. -- The Government anticipates award of two Indefinite Quantity Fixed-Price Contracts. These contracts will be for a one year period with two twelve month options to extend the period of performance. Each contract wil l contain a minimum workload guarantee of $ 2,000.
