The Federal Prison Camp in El Paso, Texas plans to issue a solicitation, IFB 242-0017, for the leasing of washers and dryers. The contractor shall provide the lease of thirteen (13) washers, 18# capacity, front loading, 110/120 VAC and six (6) stacked dryers, (12 dryers total), 30# capacity, natural gas, 220/230 VAC. IFB 242-0017 will be issued on or about February 28, 1997 with an anticipated bid opening date of March 31, 1997. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing and addressed to the individual listed above. No Telephone requests will be honored. Contract period will be from date of award through twelve (12) months with the possibility of four (4) one-year option periods. The anticipated award of this contract is on or about April 26, 1997.
