(816) 426-3053 Contracting Oficer Project generally consists of, but is
not limted to the following: 1) Disconnecting, preparing for shipment
and transport of an engine generator (e/g) van from the Remote ASDE-3
site to the FAA Staging Area, 633 Hardesty, Kansas City, Missouri. 2)
Disconnecting, preparing for shipment and transport of an above ground,
concrete encased fuel tank from the Remote ASDE-3 site to the FAA
Staging Area, 633 Hardesty, Kansas City, Missouri. 3) Removal of
concrete slabs and demolition of foundations to 3 feet below grade,
removal of all existing ashpalt over the entire extent of the existing
site and repaving all of the plot with asphalt. Paint parking striping
to match existing striping. 4) Removal and disposal of electrical rack
and security fence around the plot. 5) Removal of 6 each Fixed Target
Reflector concrete foundation pads and piers, backfilling excavations,
installing 12" of topsoil to match existing grade, and reseeding.

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at aany tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond
amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
