Contractor will be responsible for the construction of a complete new commissary facility to include all equipment, both building and operational, all structures, utilities, roads, walks, and associated on-site improvements including landscaping. This project will be constructed using SI soft metric criteria. Offerors must comply with the GSA Region 3 Metric Design Guide. Total square footage of new facility is approximately 2936 square meters (31,600 square feet). Period of performance will not exceed thirteen (13) month period. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted. Bid packages will be available on/about 28 Feb 97 Estimated closing date for proposals is on or about 30 Apr 97. Bid guarantee is required.
