Y -- ADD/ALTER COMMISSARY FACILITY -- IFB AT NAVAL AIR STATION MIRAMAR CA SOL F41689-97-B-0002 DUE 043097 POC Tommie Thornton, (210) 652-3845 The work to done includes but is not limited to the following: Construction includea 21, 000 square foot addition to the west end of the existing commissary building allowing for new staging/receiving area, new administration offices, new bakery/deli area, new frozen food freezer, new dairy storeage room new employee breakroom and restroom, new contract stocker room, new damage merchandise room. In addition, construction will include an expansion o the front end of the store to allow for expansion of the sales area, new cashier/cash counting office, new patron restrooms. The alterations to the store will include demolition of existing admin ofices, cold storeage rooms, exterior canip, etc., for making the renovations that will include but not limited to new walk in coolers, new fish processing area, expansion of the frozen food sales area, expansion of the produce department, expansion of the sales area, expansion of the checout area, new shopping cart storeage, relocation of existing new refrigerated display cases as well as new refrigeration compressor racks will be required, new HVAC equipment will be required, and new non-refrigerated equipment. Sitework is required for new additions, and alterations will include some abstos and lead paint abatement, as well as roof replacement Phasing of overall construction work will be required through the duration of the project to allow for full operation of the commissary. Proposed procurement is open to both large and small business concertns. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bid gurantee is required .
