COOSBAY, CHARLESTON, OR. Provide all labor, material, supervision,
equipment, transportation, and all other necessary work to accomplish
the following work in the Suislaw River area: (1) Suislaw River
Daybeacon 14 (LLNR 9520): Remove the temporary buoy and the existing
damaged single pile wood structure, and install an 18" diameter single
pile steel aid-to-navigation (ATON) structure. Return the buoy to the
Coast Guard ANT Coos Bay in Charleston. (2) Suislaw River light 23
(LLNR 9550): Remove existing damaged single pile wood structure, and
install an 18" diameter single pile steel aid-to-navigation (ATON)
structure. (3) Suislaw River Daybeacon 26 (LLNR 9560): Remove the
temporary buoy and the existing damaged single pile wood stucture, and
install an 18" diameter single pile steel aid-to- navigation (ATON)
structure. Return the buoy to the Coast Guard ANT Coos Bay in
Charleston. YAQUINA BAY AREA work includes: (1) Yaquina Bay Boat Basin
West Light(LLNR 9660): Remove existing buoy system, return it to the
Coast Guard ANT Coos Bay, Charleston, and install an 18" diameter
single pile steel aid-to-navigation (ATON) structure. (2) Yaquina Bay
Light 14 (LLNR 9675): Remove damaged five pile wood structure, and
install an 18" diameter single pile steel aid-to-navigation (ATON)
structure. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000
and $100,000. Performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of
Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration program and is open to large and small
business participation. SIC Code for this procurement is 1629, Small
Business size standard is $17 million. Minority, Women-Owned, and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation
(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged
business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance
for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
