The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) has a requirement for two generic radar target generators (GRTG) Request for Proposal (RFP) number F04611-97-R-0009 (formerly F04611-96-R-0019). One GRTG will become part of the Avionics Test and Integration Complex (ATIC), AFFTC, Edwards AFB, CA, while a second system will become part of the Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility, Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division, Patuxent River NAS, MD. The contractor will be required to design, develop, fabricate, assemble, integrate, deliver, install, test and support the GRTG systems. The contractor will also be required to provide operations and maintenance training, and engineering support after system acceptance, however, the GRTG contractor will not be expected to provide long term operation and maintenance support. The following security requirements are contemplated: Secret facility clearance with safeguarding at the Secret level to include Special Access Information. The following estimated milestones are provided to assist interested parties in planning for the GRTG program: estimated release of Request for Proposal, 21 Feb, Past Performance Proposals due 13 Mar, Proposals due 24 Mar, Oral Presentations, through 02 May, Contract Award, 16 Jun.
