This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE. Responses are due 15 days after publication. Naval Air Station Pensacola intends to award a purchase order for: Line Item (1) 8MB (2X36) 70 NS SIMM memory (QTR 150 ea), Line Item (2) Motherboards (QTY 69 ea), Line Item (3) External 256KB CACHE memory, 9 chip sets for 486-DX processors (QTY 225 ea). The motherboard must be completely compatible with the Accell mid-tower microcomputer and EDS micronics desktop chassis. It must consist of the following: (a) Support true "green" function, (b) Includes a 133 MHZ CPU with fan, (c) 1 MB PCI video card, (d) 256KB external cache, (e) Award BIOS, (f) PCI local bus slots-3 of these, (g) ISA slots-4 of these, (h) Memory support up to 128MB, 4 (72 pin) SIMM sockets, (i) Built-in power management unit, support for system management mode (SMM). This procurement is unrestricted as to size; however, parties should still identify their business size (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business). The applicable SIC is 3577 with size standard 1000 employees. Delivery is expected 30 days after receipt of order.
