Naval Surface Warfare Center -- Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) Point Mugu, CA intends to solicit on an other than competitive basis with Northrop Grumman, P.O. Box 42232, Point Mugu, CA 92044 for engineering support for the F-14 A/B Upgrade Program. This is a follow-on effort to contract N68936-95-D-0135 whose ordering period ends 31 Aug 97. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the F-14 aircraft. The scope of work includes engineering services leading to to the development and modification of F-14 A/B/D aircraft systems providing new capabilities and continuation of the F-14 A/B upgrade program to increase the airframes survivability. The proposed contract type is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Tasks will be ordered via individual task orders.
