A -- ASSOCIATION OF OLD CROWS (AOC) RADAR/ELECTRONIC WARFARE CONFERENCE The Association of Old Crows (AOC) will sponsor the third Radar/Electronic Warfare Conference, 13-14 February 1997, at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland. The goal of the conference is to inform the EW Community of the latest radar and radar-ECCM developments and to acquaint the radar community of recent trends in electronic warfare. The scope of the meeting has been expanded to include papers on the radar response to ballistic-missile penetration aids, counters to anti-radiation missiles, and radar methods for handling low cross-section targets. Additional topics to be covered include description of the radar measure and countermeasures, radar systems of current interest, radar technology, radar ECCM and EW for countering radar effectiveness. The conference will also cover millimeter wave radar, airborne radars, bistatic radars, phased arrays for radar, and SAR. The chairman of the conference will be the renowned radar authority Dr. Merrill Skolnik of the Naval Research Laboratory. The keynote speaker will be the distinguished radar authority David Barton, ANRO Engineering, who will address the Impact of Modern Russian & Western Radar Technology on Jamming Requirements. Mr. Barton will address personal experience and observations on Russian radar obtained during visits to that country. The conference will be at the SECRET, US-Only classification level and is designed to facilitate technical interaction between the military R&D and the Radar/Electronic Warfare R&D communities.
