The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Acquisition Management, intends to acquire support services to conduct financial aid information outreach. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, specifically, TIYM Publishing Company, Inc., of McLean, Virginia. This effort will require the distribution of 900 CD-ROMs containing financial aid information targeted to Hispanic students, the design of a cover letter in English and in Spanish for each recipient, and the design of a one-page survey. These activities are to be completed by April 14, 1997. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
