Request for Proposals for flood damage repair of Cascades Trail located in Giles County, Virginia. Items of work will include construction of four glue-laminated treated timber trail bridges and abutments, trail tread reconstruction and new trail construction, repair of rock masonry, new rock masonry, installation of dry laid stone steps, installation of stone waterbars, treated log cribbing, installation of benches and associated trail work including moving large rock and flood debris. A large portion of the project is not accessible by vehicles. Construction skills relating to working without the aid of heavy equipment or working with helicopters will be beneficial. Contract will be awarded based upon a Technical Proposal and Skills of the Contractor determined by previous work of a similar nature. (0027)
