Ext. 313 THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY. The Naval Sea Systems Command is
conducting a market survey to determine the identity of companies that
can provide comercially available automatic volume control
loudspearkers and intercommunication systems for shipboard interior
communication. The loudspeakers may eventually replace all shipboard
loudspeakers currently furnished in accordance with MIL-T-24223 and
DOD-L-24681. The integrated voice communication systems may eventually
replace the submarine intercommunication systems, AN/WIC-() currently
furnished in accordanse with MIL-S-23012. The commercially available
loudspeakers and intercommunication systems must meet, as a minimum,
the performance requirement of the current items; and interface with
existing US Navy peripherals. Companies that have products that they
believe can meet the above mentioned performance requirements are
invited to send information about their product to the above adress.
Interested companies should submit a statement of interest and
capabilities, including brochures and descriptive literature. The
Government will review all submitted statements of capabilities to
determine market availability of items that meet future US Navy needs.
