This procurement is for the Continuation of the Structural Analysis and Design Support and other Engineering Analysis Support for the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Space Programs. Specific tasks include development, maintenance and modification of detailed finite element models using NASTRAN, coupled loads analysis for Space Transportation System and expendable launch vehicle systems, detailed stress and fracture mechanics analysis, attitude control analysis, thermal analysis, structural and mechanical design, manufacturing of piece parts and assembly of structures, experiments, and systems. Extensive experience is required in these areas. Offerors must have demonstrated experience in performing the specified tasks and a firm commitment for personnel to accomplish the tasks on-site and off-site. Key tasks shall be performed at NRL. A facility clearance is required and key personnel will be required to have security clearances. The Government anticipates awarding an indefinite quantity indefinite delivery cost contract with a 60 month life. Telephone requests for the solicititation will not be honored.
