following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article

of content: Exemption of insoluble azo pigments from the ban on azo
colourants that may split off carcinogenic arylamines; enumeration of
the articles which fall under the ban on azo colourants; extension of
the transitional periods for the azo colourants regulation;
introduction of an official testing method for the azo colourants
falling under the ban. 7. Objective and rationale: Health protection of
