R -- WATERSHED ANALYSIS OF UPPER LAKE MANAGEMENT AREA SOL R5-08-97-09 DUE 022797 POC Pamela Ockerman, Contracting Officer, (916) 934-3316 USDA Forest Service intends to negotiate with Lake County Flood and Lake Management Programs Division Department of Public Works for a Watershed Analysis of the Upper Lake Management Area encompassing public and private lands tributary to Clear Lake, including: (1) Watershed Analysis report for the Upper Lake Management Area, (2) GIS data analysis results, (3) GIS maps, (4) Public Information Brochure and Webpage Data. Firm(s) that believe they can respond to this need, must demonstrate their ability by fully and specifically addressing the following: (1) Familiarity with the six-step watershed analysis procedure from the Federal Watershed Analysis Guide, (2) Demonstrated ability to integrate diverse working partners, such as local, state, and federal agencies, toward addressing land management issues through an interdisciplinary, ecosystem management approach, (3) Demonstrated ability to provide the technology necessary to provide GIS data analysis and maps, (4) Familiarity with the specific geographic area of the Upper Lake Watershed, (5) Demonstrated ability to address the socioeconomic needs of the region, (6) Demonstrated ability to publish an information brochure and webpage on the internet, (7) Demonstrated ability to completed the project within a six-month timeframe.
